The Jones PaynE Architects & PLanners REPORT

The Decas School Steering Committee was assisted by a town-commissioned Building Survey performed by the Jones Payne Architects and Planners, Boston, MA, who produced a comprehensive report on the building, its condition and feasibility for reuse.  

The Decas School Steering Committee was formed by town meeting and charged with providing "recommendations on the use of space in the John William Decas Elementary School building for and by the residents of the Town and other members of the public."

The Steering Committee met throughout 2022, gathering as much information as possible to fulfill their mission, including from the public via a survey and from extensive review of the building by a town-commissioned architect.
